Hello, I’m Isabel! I’m a passionate food enthusiast. My background is in Tourism, and I’ve always worked paring wines and foods. So, I want to share with you some of my favorite places to eat authentic local traditional food.

I truly believe that you don’t know a place until you’ve tasted their cuisine because food is an essential part of a country’s culture.

What you'll do

Prepare yourself for a mouthwatering journey to discover the secrets of Portuguese gastronomy.
This experience will take you through picturesque neighborhoods and local food shops offering secret culinary treasures.

Enjoy an unforgettable gastronomic and wine experience and support the local family business and small producers.

You will be eating in our best and most authentic “tascas” (restaurants) to try out our favorite local “petiscos” It is a very Portuguese experience, with noisy locals, unpretentious food and every place with its unique atmosphere.

During our tour, we will visit 5 different places where you’ll taste different types of “petiscos” paired with the most surprising Portuguese wines or Portuguese beer. I will share stories about the places that we visit, about Portuguese gastronomy and local culture.

To finish the tour you will experience an amazing Port Wine tasting with the 3 different styles , where you will learn all about it and became an expert.

This tour serves as a full meal, so come with an empty stomach!

   Isa gave us a great introduction to the food of Porto and to Porto itself! We started at an unassuming local place for bifanas and green wine, we did a deep dive into the stalls of the Bolhao market...so many stops, but never too much food and just the right amount of walking. We loved the local favourites that Isa shared with us and how knowledgeable she is. She has clearly cultivated great relationships that gave our little tour group access to these places. The whole thing ran like clockwork! My wife and I would highly recommend this tour.

   We had an amazing day with Isa! We got to see many spots we normally would not have gone to and try some real Portuguese food. Isa has the tour down to a science, perfect pace, perfect amount of food and she keeps the groups small so you can truly enjoy. Isa herself was so hospitable and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure!    This food tour more than exceeded our expectations. It was fabulous food and great info about things to do and the history of Porto and Portugal. We especially liked tasting a variety of foods and drinks in the beautiful market. Awesome experience!

   The food tour is a great way to get to know Porto and its local food. Isa really knows her way around and showed us the spots where she herself goes. It all felt very personal and unique, which was lovely. The price is also very worth it, we got lots of different foods and drinks to taste. :)

   This food tour by Isa is fantastic. The small groups made it feel more personal and the places she choose were real and authentic, but that you might overlook as a tourist. Really good value for money too as we had so much to eat and drink over the course of 3 hours. Highly recommended!

   We have done food tours in several countries and this was one of the best we have ever done. Isa is a local who is passionate about sharing her favorite hometown spots with guests. The whole tour is extremely curated and thoughtful. The variety and amount of food was appreciated. She provided historical and cultural context throughout and catered the amount of information to our group’s interest/background.    I’ve been on many food tours thru the years. This one was outstanding. Isa selects the best local shops & small restaurants and provides a wide variety of foods & beverages to sample.
